Construction
Elmwood manufactures two types of box construction that can be fully customized down to 1/8” inch-framed and frameless (full access). Among the two constructions are 6 variations all in plywood. Full access construction also available in ¾ melamine.
- Full Access Frameless : Cabinet sides, top, floor, & back are constructed with 3/4” thick material & assembled with 8mm fluted dowels.
- Full Access Frameless Channel : Channel Series cabinetry consists of standard Frameless cabinet construction with Flush or Recessed Channel molding with a 1 1/4” reveal between door &/or drawer fronts.
Ventilation
Thermador offers a broad variety of hoods that are available in many different styles and sizes, as well as hood inserts that are designed to be built into a cabinetry hood or cabinet. Depending on the cooking surface you select you will also need to select the corresponding blower that meets the requirements of your local codes. Wall hoods are available as a pro style which is surrounded by cabinetry or a chimney hood which stands alone.
Refrigeration
Thermador as mentioned above offers columns also known as the Freedom Refrigeration Collection. This collection offers individual components that can be joined together to create a wide range of configuration options. The Freedom collection also comes with articulating hinges which allows the unit to be installed flush with the cabinetry providing a seamless fit and finish. All units are available ready for a cabinet front or stainless steel panels and handles can be purchased. Handles are available as pro or masterpiece to match the selected handles on the cooking products. Also in the freedom collection there are also wine columns available which can also be joined together with the other components in the collection.In addition to the freedom collection Thermador also offers a free standing refrigerator, and undercounter products including wine coolers, beverage centers, refrigerators, and refrigerator drawers.
Dishwashers
Because BSH, Thermadors parent company owns Bosch, the dishwashers produced are of Bosch’s top rated quality and performance. Dishwashers come available in three different levels, Emerald, Sapphire and Star Sapphire. Clients have the luxury of selecting the series of choice depending on the functions and sound levels that are required. All Thermador dishwashers come standard with a third rack and a stainless steel interior case and are available in stainless steel or panel ready (Requires a custom cabinet front).
Built In Coffee Makers
To complete their offering Thermador introduced their fully automatic built in coffee maker. This unit has an internal ceramic disk grinding system, stores up to 8 personalized settings, has wifi capability, and a double shot providing smooth, consistent flavor and texture in every cup.
Warranties - 1 2 Free Program
The One Two Free program has been long running and is a great way for consumers to save money on Thermador, as they purchase more pieces. The program is simple and easy to follow. First you buy either a 36” or larger professional range OR a cooktop and wall oven and you receive a free dishwasher. Then you add any bottom freezer refrigerator or any two freedom columns and receive a free microwave, microdrawer or hood. There are also upgrade options for other appliances, such as speed ovens, upgraded dishwashers, and under counter products that can be used in place of the free items. Regardless of whether you get free items or upgrade to other appliances, the one two free program adds great value to a Thermador package.
All Thermador products come with a limited 2 year parts and labor warranty which covers the entire appliance. Warranty Service in South Florida is covered by a combination of factory service technicians and a network of independent third party repair companies in your area.
